Basic Requirements For Working On
A Drilling Rig

Must be able to lift and carry 40 kilograms of
weight for 15 meters
-
Be willing to work in remote locations for extended
periods of time (15 days at work and 6 days off each 3 week cycle)

Be able to take direction and work unsupervised
while performing basic tasks

Be a team player - help co-workers (do not stand
and watch them work)

Have basic mechanical skills
-
Be able to work outside in cold, wet, dirty
conditions

Be capable of sharing a room with someone else in
camp or have money to live in town
-
Have a limited fear of heights
-
Must arrive to work
equipped with protective clothing (Please print the 'Clothing
Requirement' form)
Employment
To be considered for a rig
position with Beaver Drilling Ltd., print and complete the 'Employment Application'
form, and if at all possible, deliver 'in person' to the Edmonton
office.
